Re: The OFFICIAL Firearm Thread
AR-15 stuff = crap.
AR-10 stuff = decent.
MP5 = Obsolete with the new SMGs out there today. Still a veu funtional and reliable SMG and still the most used world wide.
Good alternatives:
SCAR-H and TDI Vector.

What he really means is that he shot a brick wall, and the bullet came back and skimmed his head, so he can't really remember too well.

No, I think he couldn't handle the recoil and the gun smacked him in the forehead.

This bump brought to you by The China North Industries Corporation's a.k.a. Norinco's M-93 Sportsman. At the very affordable price of 149 Canadian Dollars, whoever doesn't own it is either poor or stupid.
Re: The OFFICIAL Firearm Thread
My next purchase. This is a definite:
Baby Desert Eagle "Fast Action" in .40 S&W since the 9mm's barrel is too short.

Re: The OFFICIAL Firearm Thread
Found some more playthings:
Excel Arms Accelerator Rifle in either .22WMR or .17 HMR (I'd rather have .22 WMR since its more reliable IMO)
http://www.excelarms.com/acceleratorrifle.html
Excel Amrs X-22P Pistol in .22 LR (Any pistol with the magazine loading outside of the pistol grip is cool especially since the Tec-9 is prohibited in Canada):

Re: The OFFICIAL Firearm Thread
It seems Horatio primarily uses the SIG P229 but without an accesory rail. Seems Horatio doesn't have a use for lasers/flashlights. I think they're also stupid, but that's not the point.
EDIT: Just wanted to add he used a Beretta Cougar 8045F in seasons 1 and 2. Now Stoeger makes it instead.

Re: The OFFICIAL Firearm Thread
Can't go wrong with Germany's weapon engineering, like the Mauser Kar98, or the Mauser engineered GOL Sniper Magnum (.388 Lapua Magnum). Smith & Wesson Model 383 .357, or Taurus' Raging Bull .454 casull. All amazing guns in action, all though I've only shot 3 of them.....

The Mauser action is just crazy awesome. I dunno what other bolt action can top it.
The GOL is weak compared to Accuracy International's .338 Lapua since they basically helped invent the cartridge which is based off the .416 Rigby which was intended as a dangerous game hunting round. I've shot the .416 Rigby and it is just awesome sheer power.
The Raging Bull is also good, but I prefer American revolvers over the Brazilian ones (even though the Taurus Judge is understandably a powerhouse). I also prefer the .460 S&W over the .454 Casull. I really want a S&W 460V but can't find one. I only seem to find the ones with longer barrels.
The S&W 383 I can't seem to find any info on so I can't give my opinion on it.
Re: The OFFICIAL Firearm Thread
Whoops my bad, I meant Model 386, lol. I like the GOL because of it sexy stature, quality of Mauser, glass shattering sound, hair splitting accuracy, and it comes in OD green and black, best colors on a gun IMO. And in options wise you can choose between conventional, polygon, and ratchet barrel rifling, or smooth bore.
