I want this Taurus PT100 .40S&W Stainless....
Fuckin' sexy look with managable recoil and respectable ammo capacity.

Anything Taurus is pure excellence. Personally, I want the 740 Slim but its prohibited in Canada due to its short barrel length
Here's the beauty that is the Taurus 740 Slim in .40S&W (Which is turning out to be my favorite modern hadngun caliber. Probably because they don't make as many 10mm Auto pistols anymore. I guess I'll have to settle for the .40 Short and Wimpy )
Re: The OFFICIAL Firearm Thread
.... Or the Benelli MR1 Tactical rifle. 5.56/.223 AND it even uses M16/M4 magazines.

Kinda looks like a mix between the Beretta PX4 Storm and an M1014/Benelli M4

Which is exactly what they wanted. Originally called the Beretta RX4 Storm, it also came with the Benelli M4 Super 90's collapsible buttstock. An excellent rifle, but I'll take the bigger caliber Benelli R1's over the MR1. Even though the capacity is shit (3+1 for the .300 WSM), I still prefer the high calibers.
Re: The OFFICIAL Firearm Thread
But doesn't the MR1 have the M16 30 Round 5.56mm mags? Where did the .300WSM come in? lololMegaMonkeyChunk wrote:RZRsharpKLR wrote:.... Or the Benelli MR1 Tactical rifle. 5.56/.223 AND it even uses M16/M4 magazines.

I was talking about the R1.
Also, the MR1 comes with a 5 round mag standard. Yes, you can still use Beta C Mags with it so who the crap cares about some pissy 5 rounder? If there wasn't a magazine restriction on rifles in Canada, I'd probably take the Tavor over both of these and add this (since it takes standard AR mags):

As soon as the Type 97 gets out of court, expect one to appear on my door step.

Well, they'll have to get rid of the mandatory registration for non restricted firearms first before I start buying anything anymore. What I have left are just my prohibited .38 Special I haven't seen in 6 years and my .338 Lapua rifle. One is in a safe somewhere in my house and the .38 is so well hidden, you'd need at least 40 police agencies searching my home to find it.
Re: The OFFICIAL Firearm Thread
I think I just found an excellent home defense shotgun:
Tomahawk Kabza in 12 Gauge:
http://www.turkishsportarms.com/kabzan16.htm
Also, not available in the US because its a short barreled shotgun not made in the US. I think Jesus loves me because it doesn't fit the description of restricted or prohibited so it would be considered non restricted. Awesome!

Re: The OFFICIAL Firearm Thread
If this is legal in Canada, expect me to own one:
Norinco Type 85 Bayonet in .22 LR:
http://www.securityarms.com/20010315/galleryfiles/2000/2024.htm
Gun knife = win
EDIT: Just checked, it isn't. Stupid 86mm barrels...

More awesome pistol carbines:
Kel-Tec 2000 in 9x19mm Parabellum:
http://www.keltecweapons.com/our-guns/rifles/sub-2000/
Awesome features:
- Folds completely in half
- Can be conifgured to use Glock 17, Glock 19, Beretta 92, S&W 59 or SIG 226 magazines. I recommend the Glock 17 configuration so you can the awesome 33 round magazine with it. This is probably the best alternative to a .22LR for a light/space efficient rifle that can use high capacity magazines. Excellent for anyone that travels in the woods a lot. I recommend Glock 19 so that you can use virtually all the Glock 9mm magazines.

More civilian Vz. 58s:
FSN series of rifles in 7.62x39mm:

All of them are considered restricted in Canada and Short Barreled Rifles in the US.

4+1 capacity with a 27.5" overall length. Definitely something worth owning.
I just love the whole design of the pistol grip. Pure excellence.
