Criminal Minds is yet another one of my favorite shows.

OVERVIEW

Criminal Minds is an American police procedural drama that premiered September 22, 2005 on CBS. The series follows a team of profilers from the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) at Quantico, Virginia. Criminal Minds differs from many procedural dramas by focusing on the criminal rather than the crime itself. The show is produced by The Mark Gordon Company in association with CBS Television Studios and ABC Studios. The original title for Criminal Minds was Quantico, and the pilot was filmed in Vancouver. In the Quantico script, Jason Gideon was named Jason Donovan.

On May 26, 2010, CBS officially renewed Criminal Minds for a sixth season, which premiered on September 22, 2010 at 9:00 PM EST. A spin-off to the show, Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior, has also been announced, and is set to premiere mid-season in the 2010–2011 fall schedule.

CBS announced in October 2009 that Legacy Interactive will develop a video game based on the show. The game will require players to examine crime scenes for clues to help solve murder mysteries. The game is scheduled to come out sometime in December.

Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior premieres Wednesday, Feb. 16 at 10:00 PM!

Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior is an upcoming American police procedural drama that has been ordered to series by CBS. The show will debut in 2011 as a spin-off from the successful Criminal Minds, which premiered in 2005. This edition's profiling team also works for the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) in Quantico, Virginia. In an April 2010 episode of Criminal Minds, the original team met the new team and worked with them to find a San Francisco serial killer as the series' backdoor pilot.

Just like the parent series, CBS will own the underlying North American rights, while ABC owns the international rights.

The show will star Richard Schiff, Forest Whitaker, Matt Ryan, and Michael Kelly.
