Help with internet browser

For some reason, out of nowhere my internet browsers don't want to connect to the internet. Whenever I open up Firefox it says "Oops, this link appears to be broken". I'm on my sisters profile on the computer and its working just fine. Everything else internet related works though, it was letting me play the MoH beta. If anyone knows what the problem is and how to fix it, please post.

Are you the admin account on the computer?

Yeah, my sisters account and mine are admins.

You're typing this on this internet now....

It probably has something to do with low bandwith. Sometimes I can chat with steam and stuff, but I cannot surf. Re-set your router and try again.

I know, I said it works on my sisters part of the comp, and thats what I'm on. I'll try and post if it works or not.

Just tried it, now its saying he proxy server is refusing connections.

Its probably a virus, try booting in safe mode.
