Re: Official Car Thread
wow, I don't have anything that cool.
I have a 2004 Mazda 6. It's got a V6 w/standard transmission. It's black. Dark tinted windows, but I blow my cover by having them down and playing loud punk rock. I really like it. The fastest I have had it up to was about 160 (~100mph) on a little secondary highway right near where Wsxdas lives.

Re: Official Car Thread
I have a 2010 Mazda3 Sedan with a 2.0L engine, and 150hp.
I've had that thing around the same speed as L4MB's car. My uncle however, has a Jaguar XKR that he's let me take for a spin a few times.
He's also said that if I ever score a date with a 9 or a 10, I can take it, after providing photos of the girl.

I don't own a car anymore. I use public transportation mostly. My wife is the one that has a car. I don't remember the model, but its a Nissan something or other.

He does. Blowing a perfectly good car up
But seriously, why did he take his sunglasses off, and then put them right back on. Its just overdoing it.

He also wears a second pair over the first pair, just so he always has protection from the sun, even when the takes his glasses off.
Re: Official Car Thread
It's a good idea, but it necessitates a good public transit system, of which Edmonton is sorely without. I would have to take 4 busses to get to work and it would take probably around 2 and a quarter hours. Each way. Not worth it.MegaMonkeyChunk wrote:I don't own a car anymore. Yeah we have tons of buses here, too bad they aren't air conditioned. They are heated during the winter though.
The subway is probably the most comfortable way to get across the city, if you have no problem being molested.

I'm getting my permit in a month, but I'll be getting my Sister's car:
2008 Subaru Impreza Sedan, 2.5L Flat-4, 170h
It also has a huge dent in the rear bumper and the trunk won't close cause some drunk dude hit her.
Hopefully gonna milk something from the drunk dude to get some new rims for it (actual rims this time, the stock ones are plastic ^____^)
Dream car is a WRX

The stock rims are not plastic. The rims themselves are metal, with a plastic wheel cover.

Re: Official Car Thread
Ok finally, I found my fuckin' memory stick with the picks on it!
I had it raised up to change out drivelines and tighten up the oil pan.
We pulled out the cars to clean 'em for the car show later that day. I won the best "in-progress" award. Needless to say, the car was already done........ The black car behind it it my Grandma's 1929 Ford Model-A, and the ass end of the white car on the top left is a 1969 Chevy Camaro Indy 500 Pace Car convertible.
Just a shot of the motor about an hour after putting it back in..
My personal favorite shot of it...
But those are old, if you see the dates on the pics, their from March. Right now the car's front end is torn off and I've been sanding it sound alot lately. I'll re-update after a while.

It's actually an aluminum "base-plate" with a foam insert on top to direct air to the air cleaner/carburetor.ginga-ninja wrote:Why the fuck is there a wooden box on your bonnet.
This is basically what my hood looks like, its called a 3 inch cowl induction hood. The cowl being the raised center-piece in the middle.

Damn.
I still got to sit in the 2011 Impreza WRX STI, so my day wasn't a whole waste.
