The marketing of Black Ops is excellent. It has to be because of how mediocre it is.

Yeah, like I've said, the marketing for Black Ops is epically good.

CoD website is shut down due to high traffick......what does that mean for the servers later tonight??


Don't get me wrong Chunky....I know this game is going to have issues, as every game does but I have much more faith in TA then I do IW......I'm just saying give it a chance.

Part of me believes that no matter how perfectly epic any game could be, people are just gonna hate for the sake of hatin'.......drives me nuts.

I dislike it because its like a politician. Promising you the moon and providing you a bag of dog turds with the "Moun" on the front. Then not wanting to admit how disappointed they are, the community then smiles and tries to ignore the tears streaming down their faces with big fakes smiles and empty compliments.

MW2 has just done everything it could to destroy the CoD franchise integrity to anyone with at least half a functioning brain. As much faith as someone could have in Black Ops, its still MW2 with a paint job and a few new ornaments hung around it.

Activision and IW were in-fighting early on during the production of MW2. Now if they are the parents, and MW2 is the child.....how does that child stand a chance if the parents are always fighting?


Simple metaphor, I know, but I'm shootin' for simple so that it's easily digested.
There were a lot of problems that didn't get fixed due to the big lawsuits and blah, blah, blah....we all know this. I'm just hoping that TA loves it's baby enough to raise it properly after it's born. I think they will.

If this game fails, I'll be the first to admit it, because I hate spending money on shit that sucks.

They've already brought marathon and lightweight back, so SnD is already ruined for me.

That's what the game will come down to, how its treated by the devs. But since Treyarch is the easy going mother and Activision is the dominant father, I suspect the baby will be milked for all its worth with little work until it is replaced by the next baby scheduled to come out 12 months from now.

The next CoD is going to be a MMO with pay subscriptions........I'm sure of it.

It won't fail, that's the sad part. No CoD title ever fails financially. Just slap "Call of Duty" onto something it it instantly becomes a #1 hit with every gaming website on their knees begging to suck its cock.

Doubtful in a word of thousands of free to play MMOs on the PC. Because it is CoD it will have players.

Woah, some GameStop in Baltimore got held up by armed dudes for their copies of Black Ops. What's this world coming to?
I mean, digital piracy before release is one thing, but actually holding up a GameStop for their physical copies of the game seems a little much.
