A possible computer choice for me.

Dell Studio 17 Gaming Laptop with 17.3" LED Display 1749

* Intel Core i5-430M (2.53GHz)
* 4GB Memory and 500GB Hard Drive
* 17.3" HD+ TL LED Display
* DVD Read/Write Optical Drive (8x)
* Intel HD Graphics Video Card

As a rule of thumb, anything with an Intel Graphics card is abysmal.

EDIT: I don't know much about Laptops, but the reviews on this are good, and its cheaper than what you have said.

For gaming, yes, but for school etc, its alright.

Decent, its the newest-gen, but not the greatest card. 5700 and 5800 series are the greatest ATI cards.

I'm an NVidia man myself though, so I can't recommend much ATI.

The reviews on this are good, and its cheaper than the other build you have.

More than likely. I need something that will last. It will be used for school and that basic stuff. But gaming would be nice although not completely necessary.

I'm still thinking of a PC gaming rig, but I'm afraid I won't be able to put it together and if I do manage, I'll suck horribly Sad

Looks good, you'll be able to use any current-gen game for sure. You may not be able to play the more demanding games at maximum graphics though.

If I win the 50 million today (today's jackpot) I will go out right now and buy the most insane gaming computer ever. you probably would have to build that though, so I'd hire people and get wheen to tell me the best possible set up evar.
