How do you guys feel when you buy stuff with change?

I usually make sure I have paper money to buy everything I need with or I just use my debit card. Eventually tho, the change builds up on my dresser and I have to do something with it. Right now I have around seven dollars worth of pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters. It's starting to get on my nerves seeing it there so I'm going to make a store run for something. I just hate being the person that walks into the store and knows that the cashier is probably going to be pissed about this but can't do anything about it. So yeah, I feel bad when I have to do it, but it must be done every so often.

Ahh wells, I have to get rid of all this change some how. I at least make the attempt to have them all separated so it's easier to count.

Before last year I had a bin in my room with around $200 in it. Of course in Canada we have $1 and $2 dollar coins. I had no idea what to do with it, until I decided to use it to pay for parking at university.

Personally I don't think there should any coins below 25 cents.

Nice usage. I think I had some 2$ coins my brother in law gave me from Canada. We have 1$ coins here but it really not wide spread and hardly anyone uses them when they do get them.

Only 25cent pieces would be awesome. Too bad it would never happen because then store couldn't charge $19.99 for stuff and they would have to reprice everything =/

I use the loonies (1$ coins) and toonies (2$ coins) to pay for bus fare (which is 3$ now thanks to awesome STCUM). I have a jar nearly full of pennies which I just keep filling up. I also build stacks of quarters because I am OCD like that. I just give my nickels and dimes to the homeless.

I use it when I take the bus. The bus driver doesn't care if you pay $2.75 in dimes and a nickel. I just really rarely take the bus, so it does tend to build up.
You could roll it and take it to the bank, but that's a lot of effort for just turning money into other money.

I take all the bronze coins (5's, 2's and 1's) and punt them at friends at long range.

I actually keep 5cs, they help add up ti buy cookies in school. But yes, bronzies are worthless. I just hoard my change and do nothing with it.

They're actually pretty close to getting rid of the penny in Canada. Can't wait until every price ends in a 5 or 0.
