Cool story bro

Thought I would share a cool story.

I just finished refereeing a Peewee hockey game, and when I was in the officials' room afterwards writing up the game sheet there was a knock on the door. A guy in a suit walked in. He introduced himself as (name withheld for privacy reasons), an NHL linesman. He told me that I refereed a near-perfect game, and that he was very impressed. He also said that he was a referee in the same zone as me many years ago, and that he would be in touch with my assignors to get me moved up as soon as possible. Also in the stands was an ex-NHL player, who runs development camps in the off-season for high level players. He wanted me to be in charge of referees for the games in the camps.

The NHL linesman told me that I had a legitimate shot of making it to the big leagues.
