Gran Turismo 5.... I haz it!

Well, I bought it the morning after its release, and I am not surprised to see AMAZING graphics, and excellent physics engine that includes drifting, smarter AI which is something I've been waiting for, I hate the dumbasses in the previous GT's....... Ok yeah, I'm surprised. All I can say is go buy it, and play the shit out of it until your woman finally dumps you from sitting on your ass.

The whole game looks like a fucking eye orgy of splooge. I wonder if that's what racing heaven looks like?

Apparently the menus are terribly designed in an almost game-breaking way. And not every car looks as good as the others, since some are ported in from previous games. I had also heard that the AI is still not on par with the Forza series; You can still get run off the track by your opponents if you are between them and the racing line.
Do you notice these things?

I think the menus in GT5 Prologue sucked ass. These are very organized I think, but this is just me. However, I'll agree with you, Forza definitely has the best AI around when it comes to racing games, but I was just speaking within the GT series of having the most improved AI versus the previous GT games.

I gotta get a PS3 first. Christmas comes soon.

I have been a fan of the GT series since day one, but I think NFS Hot Pursuit is going to kill it. For some reason GT wants to stick to the same old formula. The graphics are killer but everything else seems a little flimsy.

Is there a MP component to GT5?

Saw a some videos of this game, graphics look like crap and the #1 most complained about thing that I have heard is the crashes are not cool at all.

This isn't Burnout you know. The main purpose of GT5 was to make shiny cars that are shiny and make me pee pee all hard.
