I just tried both of my old accounts that I thought were permabanned, and they're off of their bans. hcool

I've never been banned at IWF. I was warned once for "Attacking other Users", but that was because one fussy individual filed a complaint on every one of my posts for a whole day, just because I put him in his place.

FoxHound later told me that person had been warned for abusing the "Report Function".

Other than that, I believe if you are respectful of other users, and stick to the forum rules, you'll do just fine at IWF. It is the trolls and spammers that put the mods on edge and make them "Lock and Ban" happy.

But again, simply my opinion.

Wrong. I got a month long ban for having a link to this place in my sig. While everyone else, including Esco has links to their youtube pages, twitters, or Raptrs (IDunnoLol) in their sigs.

According to the CoC, you are not to "Advertise Anything".

Now, I know a youtube or twitter page in your sig is "technically" advertising. But I think we can agree those are just personal social networks. They don't "compete" with IWF in that respect.

The Power Forums are a direct mirror of the IWF, so its almost like you're advertising against it.

It depends on your perspective. But I guess I've been saying that a lot today. Very Happy
