I like the idea, but they seem a little flawed to me. Try thinking of it as the XP system in an FPS game. When you rank up, the XP required gradually increases a little more than it took to rank up in previous rank. Try it like this..

1 - 9 Posts = FNG

10 - 25 Posts = Private I

26 - 30 Posts = Private II

31 - 40 Posts = Private First Class

41 - 60 Posts = Corporal

61 - 85 Posts = Sergeant I

86 - 99 Posts = Sergeant II

100 - 130 Posts = Sergeant First Class

131 - 155 Posts = Lieutenant I

156 - 169 Posts = Second Lieutenant

170 - 195 Posts = First Lieutenant

196 - 250 Posts = Captain

251 - 349 Posts = Sergeant Major

460 - 520 Posts = Lieutenant Colonel

521 - 635 Posts = Colonel

@RZRsharpKLR, I have looked over your ranks and some of them are too short, in Private First Class you only stay there for 9 posts. I prefer the current one, it is fine the way it is. Plus, the only "rank people" that are even close to 2000 posts are ginga and MMC, even though they already passed it.
