Why does Black Ops have iron sights on the AUG itself when in reality, the back up irons are on the carry handle/scope as seen in the link below?

Notice the little sights right on top of the scope. I think it should be renamed Failed Ops.

Because I was really looking forward to there being a more accurate portrayal of the firearms used in Black Ops compared to MW2. They failed miserably.

Also, if they wanted a lower profile, they'd use a "Commando" instead.

Why did Treyarch fail at an accurate portrayal of the firearms featured in Black Ops? Last time I check, the XL64, while made by Enfield, isn't just simply called, the Enfield. When most people hear Enfield, they immediately think og the Enfield SMLE.

If you want an accurate game, why don't you go play Tom Clancy, AA, or Arma?

Because CoD could be just as accurate if the developers actually cared. The gameplay looks intense, but I might as well be using weapons simply titled "Austrian Assault Rifle" with ".357 Revolver" as my side arm.

Also, its not that they don't care, its that their appealing to an audience of illiterate ten year olds, who want names, not numbers. "Stakeout" sounds cool, "Intervention" sounds cool.

I remember somebody defending the "M21 EBR" a while ago (I wanna say IW_Peasant), and said that it was for simplicity purposes, IE, in CoD4, the semi-auto sniper was the M21, so they wanted to keep it that way in MW2. Was this a good idea?
