Inside Gaming Awards 2010
Last night, in California, Machinima.com had their second annual Inside Gaming Awards (IGAs). The IGAs are a chance for Machinima to bring their experience to the global community. The event was live-streamed on Machinimas UStream channel for viewers in any corner of the world to watch. Viewers were also able to participate in the event, and submit their questiosn for the winners via the live chat feature on UStream. Nominees were interviewed and winners were announced live on the Stream.

Limbo won because it's artsy fartsy and hipsters loved it.
Best DL game should have gone to SHANK or Pinball EFX2.
and..........RDR is pretty to look at, but boring as hell to play.

It's good to see Minecraft up there. That game is incredible.
Limbo was good, but there was definitely better DL games this year. Umm, Super Meat Boy, anyone?

Why are these even relevant? Too me, awards like this are just for "gamers" that sit at home and play video games with one hand and jack off with the other at how many 360 no scopes they pulled off.
To be a real GOTY, you need to sell a shitload of copies of your game. But going by that logic, CoD is always GOTY, not content wise obviously since every "next gen CoD" is just a copy paste of CoD4 with "new" features.
