Rent, don't really think I'll like it TBH

I've spent the past half hour just watching all the videos, and its kinda amazing how good everything looks and sounds. Being a future dev myself, the amount of work they put into the animations and sound is astounding.

Oh, and, bump.

Hard saying to be honest, never played Crysis 1 either, so. Dunno lol. I might just end up getting New Vegas, it looks pretty badass.

flame suits have a damage threshold of 3 my flamer will easily go through that.

Nanosuits have a damage threshold of 10, only Incinerators can get through that. And even then you have to have the Orb of the Abyss to reach the amount of hit-points needed to deal any damage to the player.

does anybody know if the ps3 version is a port from the Xbox 360 like black ops?

No.

Crytek supposedly have real-time rendering for all three main platforms built in to Cryengine 3, so apart from Hardware limitations, all three versions are the best they can be for their platform... supposedly.

That being said, the 'best' version will be the PC version, since it will be DX11, while the Xbox is limited to DX9, and the PS3 is limited to OpenGL.

You know how the HUD shakes? You can adjust it, there are 100 settings (A little slider).

I played the demo, it was good, but you can obviously tell that this game is meant to be played on the PC.

The demo was okay but I don't really like sci-fi games.

Demos out on PC.
