Headsets?

Thinking about getting one. What would you guys recommend? I will spend $200 max, but would like to keep it under $150.

=/ By this time you would think bustbuy would have booths for this stuff. I only have the TurtleBeach X1s and those work fine for me. The mic cord sounds like its starting to fail but nothing I can't fix. If I was to get new ones I'd probably get AX Pros like ginga has.

You know your price so the next question is do you like wires or wireless?

I would much prefer wireless. I was looking at the TB x31s, but haven't made up my mind.

I have the X41s. I like em. They suck batteries pretty hard, though. I don't find I get too much interference even though the base is like 2 feet from my wireless router. I have heard of people getting static and cutouts, but I have only experience that when I am near my microwave.

The AX Pros are wired, which I prefer as theres no interference or dicking around with batteries. The cable is also like 2 metres long, so no worries there.

So I've been comparing prices this morning.

For the AX720s, which look like the best value, despite the cord, Best Buy Canada charges $170.

The American Best Buy store charges $130 for the exact same product, despite the Canadian dollar being pretty much on par with the American dollar. This is very irritating.

I would buy from an online source, like eBay, but I don't have a credit card.

I have never had a problem with interference on the X31's. I don't mind shelling cash out for the batteries either, would rather be wireless especially with my dog and kids running around. Plus you can just get rechargeables.
