Organizing Time

Post  Patty on Tue Feb 01, 2011 7:08 am

I am ridiculously busy these days.

I go to school full time, so that carries about an hour at least of revision per class per day, in addition to class time. I have 5 classes this semester, so that should give you an idea of how much time I spend on that. I also work as a hockey referee, which takes up about 6-10 hours per week. I ALSO coach my younger brother's hockey team, which takes up another 6 hours per week.

I also want free time to be able to hang out with friends and stuff. I want to maintain my social life, while staying on top of all my other stuff. How do you guys manage your time? Do you write stuff down? Keep it electronic? Right now I just go off memory, and I don't ever miss anything, but I think I could have some more time in-between commitments and appointments to do other things.

tldr; how do you manage your time?

I don't have a set routine. I gave up that life of hustle and bustle to live life on my own time.

When your KDR is higher than your GPA, that's usually a bad sign.

Exact order everyday... (Weekdays)

-Wake up.
-Take a shower.
-Eat breakfast.
-Brush my teeth.
-Comb my hair.
-Go on the computer until 7:20 exactly.
-Put my hoodie on.
-Put my house key in my pocket.
-Comb my hair again.
-Leave the house at exactly 7:30
-Walk home from school.
-Get home at exactly 3:04 everyday.
-Do whatever I want for the rest of the day.

Work. Rest. Play.

Seriously though, weekdays I get up at 8:30, got to school until 4, 6:30 on Wednesdays, come home (maybe not Fridays) drink Tea while on laptop or reading until 5-5:30, then a mixture of reading, TV, practising music, PS3 and other miscellaneous hobbies mixed with however much homeework have until 12, and then read in bed til 1. All of this is mixed with tea.
