CA might have a state law on video games
how kids are protesting the law
What the law says/does
It's pretty much what they do at any major store now anyway. If you want to get a rated M game then you need an ID that proves you 18+ or what ever the age is now. I already know it's been that way for the last six or more years. I just don't get why people are getting angry about it, it's already pretty much treated as a law anyway.
Thoughts?

So you need to be over 18 to buy an over 18s game? Sounds fair enough to me. And hopefully less squeakers.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is going to be out of office soon. This is what happens, California is not epic anymore.

Gee, well that changes nothing, since when we're kids allowed to be M rated games?

Well, apparently they're aloud to, just the stores don't because they find it unethical
Why is this even news?

What? Maybe the law is about not being allowed to play them.

Its not.
In a 59-page brief filed to the U.S. Supreme Court this week, the state of California makes its best argument about why it should be a crime to sell a child a very violent game.

The funny things:
1) Minors can still play all the games they want as long as mommy and daddy buy it for them.
2) Minors under the age of 18 aren't considered old enough to have a legal say.
