What is your favorite Call of Duty game?

I only played the last 3 CoDs (plus CoD Classic which is not really the same). CoD4 was amazing and it only went downhill from there on imo.

Call of Duty 3. Yes, really. Haters gonna hate. The simple fact of the matter is that it added a lot of stuff that was pretty groundbreaking, and was not in previous games such as sprinting, climbing over walls and throwing back grenades. Imagine how fun WaW on Veteran would be without being able to toss the grenades back at the thousands of enemies. And sprinting has likely saved your ass hundreds of times in Call of Duty 4, WaW, and MW2 online.

The maps were excellent too. I loved Eder Dam in particular, and I always played as the Axis forces to get the Scoped Kar 98k.

I voted CoD4 even though CoD2 has my heart.

Sniping on that game was the best, plus the snow maps.

And Toujane! Precious Toujane. Best map ever.

An updated CoD2 would be awesome with just the stuff from CoD3. Perks are cool but It's funner without them.

I voted W@W, because the game was amazing on PC, cause they actually patched things. Like the MP40s and non-scoped snipers were getting OP, so they patched those too.

Its not fair the other games if you include CoD4 because they have no chance.

World at War was my favorite, I've played all CoD's and that, I think is the best game to depict World War II, sure it had it's problems, but I loved it, and still play on a regular basis.

...No they won't. On consoles its all P2P so theres only a couple servers which are just serving as the matchmaking, linking several players together and hosting the "Lobby" screen. Its much easier to maintain. If you were talking about on PC, all of the servers are third-party, so it costs Infinity Ward near nothing to host all the servers.

Are you saying they won't be shut down? Of course they will.

All of them are great.

I dunno why, but I loved that game. So much fun. Foy was the best map in any Call of Duty multiplayer.
